Information Collection and Use

The Monarch Area Community Association (MACA) is the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways that differ from those disclosed in this statement.  MACA collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Security

We are in the process of developing this website. We take reasonable precautions to protect our user's information.  However, we have not implemented the Secure Socket Layer protocol with data encryption nor do we use digital certificates.  This is an information website.  Thus, no commerce is done on this website.  In the meantime, if you have security concerns about submitting information on our forms, we suggest that you print the page(s), fill them out and send them to us at: Monarch Area Community Association, P.O. Information Requests

Our website contains a great deal of information about our area.  The information is intended for a wide spectrum of viewers.  To properly answer questions we would like to know who you are. For example, a person interested in recreational opportunities in the Little Belt Mountains may be interested in restaurants and accomodations.  Homeowners may be interested in government services and local landmarks. Those with interests in the environment may find our lists of local fauna helpful. We will try to give you information that addresses your interests and needs.  You are asked on the request form whether you prefer to be contacted by phone or via E-mail.  We will try to respond.  Since we are a volunteer organization, we can not guarantee that we can respond to all requests for a phone call.

Survey Forms

Our surveys of current and potential future interest in our area and its facilities and businesses need reliable information.  We ask for your help in supplying relevant information.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive, containing information about the user.  However, this website does not use cookies.

Log Files

The servers we use to run our website generate standard traffic log files.  We use these files to prepare aggregate traffic statistics for our site.  There is no personally-identifiable information in these log files.  We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movements and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Our website contains many links to other websites.  Please be aware that MACA is not responsible for the privacy practices of other such sites.  We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.  This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by the MACA website.
